Job Description

Electrically Qualified Facilities and Maintenance Technician – Monday to Friday – Travel required - £37,000plus opportunity to further trainThe OpportunitySafetykleen operates from 19 facilities across UK and Ireland, these are the working hubs of our teams who deliver the front line service to our customers. This role is pivotal to ensuring our facilities are equipped, working to ensure our people continueto strive to put the customer at the heart of everything we do and deliver on our promises.As an electrically qualified technician you’ll be a valued member of our Facilities team you’ll be working within a team of 2 alongside a qualified plumber, together you’ll be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs on plant andequipment & general facilities maintenance across our 19 facilities. Due to the coverage across UK and Ireland you will expect to have hotel stays at least 2 nights per week – fully paid for.Benefits for Facilities & Maintenance Technician:

Job responsibilities for Facilities & Maintenance Technician:
  • To carry out preventative maintenance on plant and equipment.
  • To carry out ad-hoc repairs on general facilities maintenance
  • To communicate with fellow peers to ensure that problems are identified and rectified that enables facility operations to run efficiently.
  • To assist the Facilities Manager / Team Leader with the implementation of projects at all facilities.
  • To deliver effectively, planned and reactive maintenance across the company’s facilities to a high standard and assist with site improvement project planning and installations.
Skills required for the Facilities & Maintenance Technician:
  • Driving Licence
  • Electrical Qualification Essential
  • Plumbing experience and general maintenance fitting experience preferred
