About The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Seasonal Inventory Controller to join the team on a temporary basis for approx. 12 months.Working within key time lines outlined in the Seasonal Events Calendar, you will co-ordinate with our Customer Account Managers to determine seasonal inventory requirements and order stock accordingly.The main responsibilities within the role are to:• Create Critical Data Path (CDP) for all seasonal events.• Receipt top level data from the Accounts team/Display Planning and Customer Support Teams within critical time lines.• Communicate with the Accounts team as to individual store targets and how best to flex requirements.• Publish top level sales summaries to each customer to gain exec sign off.• Pull together all published forecasts to determine Inventory ordering requirements and place orders with the Far East Purchasing team in line with business critical dates.• Use creative thinking to determine & manage stock replenishment at store level where customer requires more than one drop into store.• Meet with the account team and publish updates to the business on a weekly basis.• Schedule customer requirements into the Distribution Centres.• Track availability by account highlighting and suggesting ways to resolve any issue.• Create store call-off phasing documents based on a customer brief and load into our seasonal forecasting system to action and co-ordinate the smooth flow of seasonal call offs.• Create and publish KPI documents to the business.• Co-ordinate and gain sign off for stock write off.You will be an excellent comminicator, with the ability to liaise at all levels to meet the successful delivery of each progamme. Both flexible and self assured, you will focus on delivering customer service in a timely manner and with a right first time attitude.You should also be numerate and analytical as attention to detail is paramount to this role.Excel skills to an advanced level are required for this role.About The CompanyWe create greeting cards, gift dressings and social expressions products for big events, special occasions and those “saw-this-and-thought-of-you” moments of life.
