Job Description

Our Regional Health & Safety Advisors provide an expert advisory service to internal customers helping us to promote a safety first culture and engage our people in the constant drive to consider safer and more effective ways of operating. You will be ahighly influential and effective communicator, able to inspire and motivate people from all backgrounds to consider safer ways of working.Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with all Business stakeholders to ensure our Health & Safety Strategy is delivered and we comply with all relevant H & S legislation at all times
  • Proactively collating and analysing data and using problem solving tools to formulate action plans that will deliver reduced risks of injury and illness to employees and workers
  • Providing technical H & S advice and guidance for all related H & S requirements within our Business
  • Supporting Factory Management Teams on the annual formulation of site specific H & S action plans and supporting and auditing progress to ensure they are delivered
  • Measuring and reporting improvements to the Health and Safety
  • Providing on-site training to deliver improved safety behaviours for all of our people
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • NEBOSH Diploma & Certificate and membership of IOSH
  • Excellent communication skills including the delivery of training packages
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Numerate and literate
  • An effective collaborator able to influence a wide cross section of people through passion and encouragement to stop and consider safer ways of working
