The Role: An excitingopportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join the Asda Strategic Account Team here at UK Greetings.You will be involved in all aspects of the development of products from concept through to product launch. This involves the monitoring and analysis of sales performance, competitor programmes and retailer activity including benchmarking, to identify productneeds and range gaps and to help with the formulation of the range. The ability to identify opportunities for product innovation & differentiation and commercially execute are paramount.In addition to the formulation of objectives and strategies for your product area, you will be also be responsible for ensuring the communication and implementation of the plans within established schedules. Excellent time management, organisation and communicationskills are a must, with the ability to project manage and coordinate multiple high profile events whilst managing stakeholder engagement.Youll have a professional approach, good commercial awareness, excellent presentation skills and strong excel skills. An element of the role will be customer facing so you will need to be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships whilstliaising with key internal departments. You will also work closely with our in-house Creative, Pre-media and Category Management teams in order to develop cost effective products targeted for the customer.Youll be a highly organised and self-motivated individual with a professional approach and good commercial awareness. Excellent presentation skills and strong excel skills are essential.Experience in a marketing environment is required, preferably with knowledge of the greeting card industry. As this role will involve some travelling you should hold a full driving licence.If you have a passion for greeting cards and would love to be part of a talented team youre in the right place!
