Job Description

Account ManagerSalary: £25k to £28kOur international client who has been established over 25 years is looking to add to their small Sales Support team as one of the current team has been promoted!This is one of my favourite clients to recruit for as they have a strong history in staff retention and always look to promote & develop their staff.Initially the main focus of the role is to deal with inbound customer enquires/ sales calls and undertake sales administration tasks whilst providing an exemplary high level of customer service however my client is looking for the successful candidate tomove into an account manager role looking after one of the companies top spending clients.Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Support the organisations sales team with all aspects of sales and product supply
  • Dealing with key clients, providing quotations, dealing with enquiries and reporting.
  • Gathering key information from sales colleagues, interpreting and communicating to suppliers and internal staff
  • Providing sales team with information on products, pricing, stock levels and logistics
  • Processing of sales and purchase orders on the Sage 200 computer system
My client is looking for a customer focussed individual who ideally has worked in a similar sales support role previously. The role will eventually lead to you having external meetings with key clients so we are looking for someone with a current UK drivinglicence.Key attributes/skills
  • Experience of working in Sales Support or Account Management
  • UK driving licence
  • Strong office administration experience
  • Knowledge of dealing with B2B clients
