Job Description

Lock assemblerPinning Room OperativeLocation: Dewsbury, WF13Duration: PermanentWorking Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (Sunday overtime available on a rota basis)Hourly rate: Starting from £19,838 per annumStafflex is currently recruiting for a Pinning Room Operative on behalf of our client, a supplier of premium quality, top performance locks and smart lock systems. If you are a motivated individual with great attention to detail and want to build a career,this opportunity is for you!As a Pinning Room Operative you will be responsible for full assembly and re-pinning of locks to specific customer specification and requirements. Your duties will include:

  • Full assembly of locks
  • Pinning cylinders together
  • Working with small parts
  • Cutting keys
  • Quality checking
  • Working with the despatch team
  • Assisting the warehouse or any other team during peak times
Previous Euro Cylinder experience is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.For a Pinning Room Operative excellent attention to detail is essential, as you will be working with small parts. Other essential competencies include:
