About the Role:The Desktop Services team at UK Greetings builds, configures, deploys and provides support for the equipment that keeps our most valuable resource - our peopleproductive on a day to day basis and as such are a vital component to the success of our business.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a career in IT to join the team as part of our Apprenticeship program. You will not only have the opportunity to gain a solid foundation in technology but also have the satisfaction of collaboratingwith colleagues at all levels and in all areas of the company.The role would best suit someone with an interest in IT who is driven to providing exemplary customer serviceDescription of the Role:-Building, installing, maintaining and supporting all Desktops, Laptops, iMacs, MacBooks and iPADS running Windows, MacOS and iOS operating systems. -Installing and supporting printers and all other peripherals such as wacoms, etc.-Performing system upgrades for both hardware and softwareworking with AG ISD as required.-Logging of support calls and service requests on the UKG Helpdesk or ServiceNow as required-Provision of first line IT support, advice and guidance to the UKG business, including for devices not directly managed by ISD (company mobile phones, merchandiser tablets, etc.)-Management of user accounts including maintenance of permissions-Performing daily scheduled computer operations tasks and checks-Working with 3rd parties where appropriate for hardware and software supportSkills and Experience:-Good collaboration skills and capable of working in a team-Good communicator and a strong customer service focus-A genuine empathy for and desire to help others-An interest in technology and willingness to learn new skills and concepts-Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
