Job Description

Electrical Design EngineerLocation: HeckmondwikeShifts: Days onlySalary: £40 - £55,000 + (Car Allowance)Metalis are working with a Heavy Engineering business who are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to support the delivery of specialised installation projects.The Role:

  • Work cross functionally with the manufacturing & project teams to ensure designs are to spec.
  • Manage EC&I Installations cradle to grave.
  • Produce Electrical Schematics
  • Design of Wiring and Cable schedules.
  • Produce BOMs
  • Peer reviewing design work.
  • Work with Subcontractors on designs.
Ideal Experience:
  • 2Years within an engineering background in Chemical, Gas or Water.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or ePlan.
  • Designing of P&IDs
  • Qualified to HNC or BTEC in Electrical Engineering.
  • PLC Programming knowledge.
The Details:
  • Monday - Friday - no hybrid working.
  • Salary up to £55,000 D.O.E
