Customer Demand Planning Analyst - Permanent £28k The Customer Demand Planning Analyst is an important role in the supply chain providing a customer interface that manages the demand forecasts which in turn drives the production behavior to meet the needs of the order book. This is an analytical role that will build reports on customer trends which will support the inventory.Responsibilities:- Assist in demand planning and management activities of company products- Develop demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends- Make forecast adjustments- Determine demand forecasts to support in budgeting and inventory management- Provide guidance to demand planning team as needed- Assist in developing and executing demand plan to achieve company goals- Perform market analysis and determine customer demands- Follow company rules and regulations- Maintain demand planning systems to improve forecast accuracy- Perform root cause analysis of demand issues and provide permanent resolutions- Escalate complex demand issues to management for immediate resolutions- Determine customer response for new products and price revisions and communicate the same to management- Work with inventory team to monitor inventory levels and replenish appropriate products- Provide forecast updates to management, inventory and sales teams on regular basis- Schedule monthly forecast meetings with all customers as requiredBackground:- SAP- Have worked in a fast paced manufacturer- Analytical and inquisitive in nature- Fast-learning and versatile, able to adapt to varying environments- Proactive and dedicated to delivering service excellence- Approachable and helpful to customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders- Forward-thinking problem solver who is solution driven- Confident, hardworking and energetic- Enjoy a fast paced, busy work environment- Previous administration experience in a Supply Chain / Procurement environment- Competent computer skills, including sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Programmes (e.g. Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, etc.)- Previous experience in composing emails to customers and suppliersPermanent £28,000 Holiday, Flexi benefitsElevation Recruitment Groups Procurement and Supply Chain division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
