At the core of your skill set should be exceptional organisational prowess to effectively juggle various tasks, timelines and resources.Meticulous attention to detail and communication skills are essential qualities for this role.You should be adaptable, readily embracing change and adjusting to evolving tasks and priorities.Additionally, we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, as fostering a collaborative environment and positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers is key to the success of this role.Key activities & responsibilities include:Administrative Support•Assist with data entry, filing and preparing/managing documents related to commercial activity.•Interact with customers, internal stakeholders and suppliers to co-ordinate timely responses and queries.•Aid the Commercial Product Manager by supporting the preparation of sales quotes, proposals, presentations and sample collation/co-ordination.•Help in managing customer contracts, co-ordinating documentation between customers, strategic buying team and suppliers.•Assist with financial tasks such as invoicing, queries, monitoring payments and expenses.•Conduct market research on trends, competitor activities, customer preferences/strategies to support tender success.Cross Functional Collaboration•Multi-departmental collaboration to support customer activity and ensure delivery.•Able to liaise and establish excellent working relationships with customers.•Identify any business risk to seek cost effective solutions.•Address any challenges related to commercial operations to ensure smooth delivery to the customer.•Ensure that commercial activities adhere to relevant laws and compliance inclusive of company policies such as ethical, logistical and sustainable standards as well as any customer bespoke requirements.Reporting•Prepare regular reports and summaries of the commercial activities by customer and channel of distribution.•Provide performance metrics for management review.•Analyse commercial data to identify patterns, trends and opportunities for improvement.Experience in an administrative role, particularly in a Marketing/Product Development environment is desirable. Knowledge of the greeting card industry is an advantage.The Company operates in a hybrid working pattern of office-based days and working from home. Head Office is based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
