Job Description

TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER HYBRID (ASHBURTON, DEVON)£25,000-£32,000 (+BONUS)I am currently working with a Microsoft Gold Partner who are one of only 45 partners in the world with Azure for ISV status and they are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their high performing Cloud Support team.No strong IT experience is actually required in this position but the ideal candidate will have experience on the phone, being a confident and polite engineer to their stakeholders and a real passion for the world of IT and Cloud!Must Have:

  • Keen to learn the world of IT and Cloud
  • Phone experience of delivering high standard of customer service
  • Organisation skills
  • Passion for a career in IT
  • 1 year experience in a similar role (1st Line IT Support)
  • Keen interest in developing cloud technology knowledge
  • Keen to progress into Cloud Engineering, Architecture or Cloud Security in the future
  • Office365 Admin & Azure Active Directory
Responsibilities:
  • Answering incoming calls, raising tickets on the 1st Line
  • Escalating issues which cannot be covered on the 1st Line
  • Liaising with Cloud Engineers and Architects
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Customer service to external customers
Work Schedule:
  • You will have the ability to work on a rota basis covering shifts 8.30am-5pm, 9.30am-6pm and 5.30pm-1am.
  • The 5:30PM-1AM shift will be paid on a premium of an additional £4k per annum.
  • 3 days working from home and 2 days working in the office (Ashburton, Devon)
