Job Description

Sous Chef - Chef de Partie required for Village Inn and Hotel offering a friendly and relaxed dining experience in the Kingsbridge area of Devon, at a beautiful coastal location. Transport would be required due to location if you are localand for those relocating there is possible live in accommodation. This property can accept a couple or friends also if two people are looking such as, asanother Chef or senior food and beverage service role.The Role

  • Working within a busy kitchen team
  • Shifts covering lunch and dinner service including weekend working on a rota (5 days per week)
  • The passion and drive to contribute to the future success of the kitchen brigade who continue to develop
Requirements
  • Experience and passion
  • Ability to work shifts especially week-ends
  • Experience within a hotel or restaurant kitchen environment desirable
  • Team player with an ability and desire to contribute to the team
  • Excellent eye for detail and able to deliver consistent standards
Responsibilities of Role
  • Assist the Head Chef in the kitchen operation including adhering to company standards, cost control, stock rotation and general efficiency of this busy operation.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety and Food & Safety rules are adhered to at all times.
The salary for Chef de Partie - Sous Chef is given as £26,000 - £32,000 / per annum / plus share of the tips. Possible shared live in accommodation. Other benefits available.
