Job Description

Software developer £25000+ DOE Location: Mid Devon - must have own transportWe are currently looking for an individual with experience using Python to join our clients expanding team. Our client is looking for someone with a real passion for software development, a strong drive to succeed & a creative flair.

  • Developing new software products using Python.
  • Monitoring and maintenance of developed systems (via GitHub).
  • Completing projects to set deadlines, whilst providing progress updates to the required colleagues.
  • Creation of user guides and technical manuals for products developed.
    • ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE
  • Strong Knowledge and practical understanding of Python3 (e.g. own project, work experience).
  • Demonstable experience working towards deadlines
  • Strong interest in software development & up to date knowledge of emerging techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of front end dev: User interface, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Driving License + Own Transport (due to location of role)
    • Desirable:
  • Experience in web frameworks like Django, Flask or Tornado.
  • Any knowledge about embedded systems or Internet of Things (IoT).
  • Familiar with Raspberry PI or Kivy.
