Job Description

Senior Sustainability Consultant - RemoteCTJ1165£48,000 - £62,000PermanentThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Sustainability Consultancy to become part of an award-winning consultancy that works with some of the best housebuilders and developers within the UK. Due to their continued growth and success, our client is seekingan experienced consultant to lead and direct their team within the Sustainability sector.The ideal candidate will:

  • At least 3/4 years experience within the area of Sustainability
  • Competent in the use of software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience of working with data
  • Technical knowledge of Sustainability Reporting Standards, Frameworks and Benchmarks, such as GRESB, GHG Protocol, SECR, TCFD, EPRA sBPR, GRI, CDP and SBTi
Responsibilities:
  • Support clients in developing and delivering sustainability strategies, which may include sustainability initiatives management, ESG data analysis and reporting, implementation of external standards, compliance management and stakeholder engagement to drivesustainability improvements.
  • Working with expert colleagues to provide general sustainability support, which may include advisory on: environmental legislation and compliance audits; management systems such as ISO14001 & ISO50001; green building certifications; EPC/EPC Plus & MEESrisk review; WELL Standard / wider Health & Wellbeing; net zero strategies; waste management; travel planning; social value and biodiversity
  • Ensuring stakeholders are updated on project progress and completing/updating any necessary databases or trackers.
  • Helping to develop and standardise the future quantification of sustainability performance.
