Job Description

Ref: 14528BookkeeperRemote£30,000 - £35,000 DOEFull or Part-timeRemote working with occasional Team retreats!My client is a specialist community support start-up undergoing an exciting increase in demand who are seeking to appoint a new Bookkeeper to join their Team. You will be responsible for taking ownership of a wide range of tasks in a company where you canhave a meaningful impact. You will have a strong operational mind-set and be good at identifying issues, prioritizing solutions and efficiently implementing new ideas. You will need to be technically astute as the role encompasses the responsibility for building new systems and improvingupon the companys current processes.In addition to organising the day-to-day bookkeeping both of the business for a handful of clients, you will take control of the following tasks:

  • Reviewing financial data and ensuring the correct recording of transactions
  • Designing automations for routine bookkeeping tasks
  • Cross referencing bank statements and accounting records with internal controls
  • Processing payments, like invoices, and expense reimbursements
  • Producing and analysing financial reports on a monthly basis
  • Setting up and administering a company card system
