Process Engineer Devon £30,000 - £40,000Monday to Friday Days Our progressive client engineer and manufacture advanced products for a range of exciting industries. Working with the likes of NASA, they are constantly developing and have continued to grow despite the current climate. They are looking for a Process Engineer to join the team at the moment. Reporting to the Lead manufacturing Engineer, you will assist the operation teams in improving the manufacturing of products.Role & Responsibilities:*Develop and implement production equipment to increase production rates and reduce process variation.*Actively involved in new product development and introduction.*Carry out risk assessments.*Provide technical support and expertise of manufacturing processes to improve performance regarding quality, output, productivity, and cost.*Review and investigate industry technology improvements.*Assist in establishing manufacturing standards, monitor performance and analyse deviations across the manufacturing facility.*Support the training of new and existing processes.*Assist with the development and implementation of quality improvements, including the updating and maintenance of FMEAs, process flows, process control, scrap reduction.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:*Proven experience working as a Process Engineer within a manufacturing environment. *Understanding of lean manufacturing processes and quality tools + techniques i.e. VSMs / 6S / Workplace Organisation / PDCA / Visual Management.*Experience in Lean Six Sigma and Lean Principles in volume manufacturing preferred.Shifts & Benefits Package:*Shifts:-Mon-Thurs 8.15-5.00pm Friday 8.15-2.00pm*Benefits:- 23 Days Holidays Per Year + BH, Early Friday Finish, Pension Job Reference No: 17321 / 611If you are interested in this role or looking for something similar please contact our Managing Consultant, Becka Edwards directly at or call them for a confidential discussion on .
