Our client provides high quality civil engineering consultancy services across the UK, Ireland, SE Asia, and West Africa. We are composed of a team of Civil & Structural Engineers and fisheries biologists engaging with a wider network of specialists acrossthe river environment. Our Engineers are primarily focussed upon the design & construction of fish & eel passes to overcome river obstructions such as dams & weirs to make a positive difference to the environment.Our client has developed a growing reputation within the industry and a portfolio of Clients ranging from governmental agencies to public utilities, which has resulted in steady growth & expansion of the business. The client has an opportunity for a motivated& technically proficient Principal / Senior Civil Engineer, depending upon experience, who holds a degree in Civil Engineering and is Chartered. The post will report to the Associate Technical Director.Duties will include project & contract management, supervision of junior engineers, preparation of quotations, client liaison, provision of technical & professional advice, and engineering analyses & calculations (structural, hydraulic & soil mechanics).The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary (up to £50k depending upon experience), a generous benefits package including flexible working. in Dartington, South Devon, which offers excellent facilities and a super work / life balance.
