The firm has clear career development paths and appraisal systems in place to help people achieve their career goals Due to a strategyfor growth, development and with succession to plan for within the firms, North Devon operations the partners are looking for the right individual who can develop the firm and progress within the organisationDescriptionJoining as Business Services Senior Manager / Associate Director based in the firms North Devon offices you will manage a client portfolio to the value of circa £300 - 400k with a wider support team around you. Clients sectors and turnovers are wide rangingacross retail, manufacturing, agriculture, tourism and leisure etc. You will manage the delivery of accounting and taxation services, managing staff, workload and budgets. Alongside this, a key part of your role will involve actively becoming a part of thelocal business community, networking, developing relationships and looking to further the growth and development of the firms client base. The opportunity provides a clear development path and progression potential within a leading and fast growing charteredaccountancy practice.ProfileYou will be ACA, ACCA qualified with a strong background in accountancy practice having developed your career to at least Senior Manager levels with a career background within accountancy practice. You will have skills managing a portfolio of mixed clientsof growing, profitable limited companies and OMBs up to or over the audit threshold, with an emphasis on accounts, tax and advisory work delivery. You will be looking to progress in your career with a clear route on offer to achieve your career goals.You may be currently working for a Devon, or South West based accountancy firm.
