Job Description

Community Support Workers ASD and LD community step downFull time / part time & flexible hours consideredLocation:Alfreton, DerbyshireFrom £20,535 plus enhancements, per annum, pro rataFull time: 37.5 hours Broom Cottage is a stunning residential care home for up to 5 adults within a peaceful, community-based environment. With an emphasis on promoting independence, positive behaviour support and vocational skills development. Broom Cottages aim is to providepositive, personalised support and promote independence for individuals with a learning disability or autismYour profileThere are no set entry requirements to become a Support Worker as full training is provided, but there personal characteristics which are essential. We would welcome your application if you are:

  • Caring and kind
  • Cheerful and friendly
  • Willing to do personal care tasks (washing, toileting, etc.) in some areas
  • Resilient, with a can do, anything is possible attitude
  • Someone who loves to work in a team, using your own initiative and creativity, but also able to follow procedures consistently where required
  • Someone who enjoys motivating and encouraging others to achieve their goals
  • Committed to inclusion and diversity
  • If you have any hobbies or interests, wed also love to hear about these
Youll also need:
