Job Description

I am now looking to recruit a Home Based, Field Service Engineer who will Service, Repair and Commission Electrical Vehicle Chargers across the UK with a preference to the East Midlands area.To apply for this position, you will ideally have some experience within a similar industry or product including Battery, Power, Electrical or Electrical vehicle chargers.Client DetailsBased across the UK my client build, service, and commission their own brand of electrical vehicle charger units and due to customer demand, they are now looking to recruit another Home-Based Service Engineer (Electrical Vehicle Chargers).This role will be working across the UK, so candidates who are based across East Midlands or the Midlands would be of high interest to my client. However other locations would be considered for candidates who have the suitable, required skill set.DescriptionAs the Service Engineer (Electrical Vehicle Chargers) you will be responsible for the commissioning, servicing, repair, and customer support for all Electrical vehicle chargers within your specific area. You will become a valued member of the Service engineeringteam who will be responsible for representing the business at all time.Main Accountabilities

  • Delivering the site-based activities relating to the EV Service portfolio.
  • To work safely and in full compliance always and on all occasions.
  • To ensure compliance with Quality Management System, Safety Procedures and Accountancy Policies.
  • To produce high quality recommendations and documentation/reports following site activities.
  • To proactively spot and report on opportunities identified on sites.
  • Work within the company integrity policy at all times.

  • Responsive to customer requests and assist with offsite activities in support of Customers and Colleagues.

ProfileTo apply for the Service Engineer (Electrical Vehicle Chargers) you will ideally have some experience within a similar industry or product including Battery Power, Electrical or Electrical vehicle chargers.Education and Requirements
  • Time served Electrician qualified to C&G Standard or equivalent.
  • Familiar and competent on software systems and or machine level code.
  • Strong background in the Safety systems sector.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer focus.
