Job Description

Our client provide world class service, maintenance and commissioning services to the renewable energy sector within the UK. Based in the East Midlands and due to recent success they are looking to grow in this sector, they are developing a first-class reputationwhen providing services to Ground Source, Water Source and Air Source Heat Pump installations.Service Engineer Position OverviewService/senior service engineer are required to service, maintain and commission ground and air-source heat pumps covering the Midlands and southern areas of the UK. Working within the Technical Services team, the successful candidate willbe issued with a company vehicle, phone, laptop and all specialised tools.Service Engineer Position Requirements

  • Service, maintain and repair ground and air source heat pumps & water chillers
  • Carry out diagnostics and fault finding.
  • Carry out routine servicing and commissioning of Ground Source Heat Pump Systems including ground source pipe networks
  • Oversee mechanical retrofit and installation works.
  • Assist with commissioning of mechanical and electrical installations
The ideal candidates will-
  • Preferably served time as an apprentice
  • Demonstrably IT literate particularly in Excel
  • Experience in lieu of qualifications will be considered
  • Full driving license
QualificationsEssential
  • C&G 2079 F Gas or equivalent
  • NVQ level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or C&G/HNC (building services) or equivalent
Desirable
  • Clear communicator both oral and written
  • Experience in lieu of qualifications will be considered
Service Engineer Position Remuneration
  • £40,000
  • 25 days holiday
  • Door to door pay
  • Full Package discussed at interview
