Job Description

    • Client DetailsWe are currently recruiting a number of interim roles for a market leading manufacturer in Derbyshire. With a global presence and sites across the UK, they are looking to add a number of senior system design engineers to their business. The successful candidate must have engine design/development experience, ideally be from an Automotive background & have a detailed understanding of taking projects from cradle to grave.Description· Create detailed system and component specifications and design -· Develop system and component using tools such as FMEA & APQP· Co-ordinate and supervise tests and co-ordinate data· Resolve engineering issues using recognised methodologies· Write systems test and development technical reports for own responsible areas· Support programme gateways and reviews· Support engineering sign-off with robust test and validation data and technical reports· Provide clear communication and support to all customers, engineering teams and suppliers:- Coordination with other functional areas, such as programme teams, purchasing,Profile
  • Must have engine experience
  • Ideally background in Automotive
  • Strong design background of taking projects from cradle to grave
  • NX/unigraphics experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to follow tight deadlines.
