Job Description

Location: South NormantonThe role will be Monday to Friday and the hours of work will be 08:30-16:00. The contract will begin ASAPDo you have experience in supporting pupils with special educational needs Are you available to begin work straight away Empowering Learning are working with a mainstream school based in South Normanton area who are looking to appoint a teaching assistantto work within their school.Responsibilities: - Provide care and support in a classroom setting - Assist lead teachers with implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities - always Supervise and ensure the safety of children - Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members - Assist with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting - Help maintain a clean and organised classroomQualifications: - Previous experience working with young children is preferred - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team -High school diploma or equivalent required; additional early childhood education coursework is a plusWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including: - Opportunities for professional development and growth within the organisation - Supportive and collaborative work environment - Paid time off and holidaysIf you have a passion for working with young children and are dedicated to their growth and development, we would love to hear from you.
