We offera vast array of species and finished products, supported by a comprehensive portfolio of specialist servicesDid you know we have been awarded top UK & Global Employer 6 Years Running!We are seeking a talented and target driven Sales Executive to primarily to manage and develop external customer accounts (expanding sales in existing accounts, reactivating dormant/lapsed accounts and securing new business), through the creation and maintenanceof strong customer relationships, ensuring high standards of service and application of product and market knowledge, to meet the annual sales target. The Sales Executive will be an effective member of the sales team to achieve the overall sales targets andsupport the team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for an area covering the East Midlands and be part of a team of 5 Sales Executives covering the whole of the UK reporting into the Regional Sales Director.Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and margin targets for product and/or sector
  • Set out plan to visit to customers and report monthly on activity
  • Delivery of agreed actions to achieve strategy
  • Growth of customer base
  • Support the achievement of the sales and margin targets
  • Accurate and timely completion of customer requests
  • Maintaining accurate and current information in the brands CRM system
  • Support manager to achieve team objectives, such as sales campaigns
We are seeking an accomplished Sales Executive ideally with a stable career within a similar timber specialist with the ability to network, build relationships with internal team and customers. This is a flagship area for the business with huge potentialin terms of customer growth / spend and the chances for career progression and development are hugeWhat will you bring to the role
  • Able to demonstrate excellent relationship management and networking skills
  • Self-motivated and results driven with the ability to manage customers to deliver results
  • Able to develop product sales and margin by coordination with category managers and product manufacturers.
  • Previous product sales experience within the business sector,
  • Ability to prepare and present product and/or sector update to senior sales team.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities
  • Ability to identify and implement performance goals, priorities, recommend measures
  • Commercial understanding of market and competitor activity
