Job Description

Quantity Surveyors Newcastle Our Client Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy offering services such as Asset Management, Commercial and Engineering within water, energy, and environmental sectors in the UK.The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will have Commercial responsibility for the whole project life-cycle including preparation of cost estimates, procurement, cost forecasting and reporting.Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for projects from inception to completion.
  • Be the focal point of contact for the client and inspire confidence for with clients.
  • Manage infrastructure projects ideally using the NEC form of contract.
  • Estimating and cost planning.
  • Tender documentation completion.
  • Cost reporting
  • Final account preparation
  • Managing and take lead on multiple projects for their clients.
  • Other appropriate Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management duties required.
To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience in a similar role with experience in the water industry or wider utility sector you will be a strategic thinkwr and lead from the front.
