Job Description

QA Automation Engineer - 45k DOE - Flexible workingI have partnered with a software company who are a specialist technology provider for mortgage technology.This exciting role will be a mixture of Manual and Automation, and it offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to continue developing their automation.You would be a great fit if you have:

  • At least 2 years testing/QA experience
  • Exposure to .NET C# test automation experience - Specflow, Selenium
  • Ability to design and document high quality test scenarios for use in manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with Test Management tools
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes - ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (preferred)
  • Experience in working in Agile way
  • Experience in testing APIs
  • Experience in the use of code repositories

  • An aptitude for identifying and resolving problems efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills that result in positive interpersonal relationships
  • The capacity to learn and apply new information quickly and accurately
  • Good at documentation and sharing work details with the team
Responsibilities include:
  • Communicating with Stakeholders to gather information prior to creating tests
  • Creating tests cases for stories before refinement
  • Manually test and create/update the Cypress/Selenium tests for those stories
  • Own and maintain End User Test Frameworks (Specflow, Selenium)
