PERMANENT POSITION! We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join an existing team in a Manufacturing / Foundry site at Pinxton.Hours - 36 per week (Based on 3 x 12-hour shifts with the possibility of an additional 6.5 hour shift)Salary - Starting from £22.5k but you could earn up to £28k)The successful candidate will join a team that produce an array of specialised fibres and filaments that are used within the Automotive, Refractory, Petrochemical, Aerospace and Construction sectors.As a Production Operative, your duties will include - Operating the furnaces efficiently and safely Standard Operating Procedures adhered to Fibres and Filaments to quality standards Installation of furnace linings Analysing melt samples Ensuring safety standards are met in production and handling of materials. Tidiness of the working area.Skills, attributes and qualifications desired - Can do attitude Problem solver Fork Truck License Overhead crane driving experience Must be flexible for shifts with the possibility of night shifts.
