Job Description

They are committed to innovation and the continual pursuit of improvement,and with a brand holding over 100 years of service they are now developing their technology capabilities, venturing into new markets and building their customer base further.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a P2P Global Process Lead for a 6 Month contract based Remotely with occasional / adhoc travel to Derby.Purpose of the Role:The Global Process Lead is responsible for driving process excellence across complex operations to support the transformation of the P2P process. They are responsible for the implementation of process efficiencies and transitions into the P2P process. Theyform a key link regionally with cross-functional stakeholders (procurement, the business and accounts receivable departments of third party suppliers) in ensuring the global process is embedded and end-to-end process designs and tools are aligned in providingextensive value to the business.The role directly reports to the Global Process Owner for P2P.As a P2P Global Process Lead you will:

  • Drive process related requirements in line with company objectives and GPO strategy
  • Ensure P2P processes are properly implemented within the region & shared service centres.
  • Act as project lead on transformation initiatives including developing plans and providing direction on project requirements.
  • Responsible for leading workshops and engagement meetings with relevant stakeholders as part of the implementation of process improvements.
  • Manage a team of business analysts/SMEs where required
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve customer responsiveness, operational efficiency, operational quality and business process simplification
  • Support decisions and activities relating to strategic approaches to on-shore, off-shore or outsource processes in line with short and long-term priorities.
  • Lead efforts in change management, communication, and education around revised and new policies and procedures
  • Lead identification of impactful operational improvements across end to end processes
  • Maintain and ensure all process related documentation is completed and updated.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer activities are completed as required within the region
  • Provide leaders with project status updates, feedback and appropriate reporting on key process focused objectives
What we require from the candidate:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Supply Mgt or related field. Post graduate qualification i.e. MBA preferred
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA, etc.)
  • Substantive process improvement experience, including implementation of global/regional process improvements. Six Sigma Black Belt or lean certification preferred
  • Excellent in-depth subject matter expertise in P2P / Accounts Payable
  • Shared services and outsourcing experience
  • Experience in driving improvements related to SAP (MM/FI) and eProcurement/e-Invoicing systems (e.g. Coupa, OpenText, Basware)
  • Experience in organisational change management, transformation, strong leadership, and project management methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills.
  • Energetic, proactive and self-motivated professional with the capability to build strong internal and external relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience of implementing significant business change across different national, regional and business boundaries.
  • Quick learner and strong sense of natural curiosity; strong analytical and natural problem-solving skills to complement creative "out-of-the-box" thinking
