Job Description

6-Month Contract (possibility of extension)

  • To assist the Infrastructure Operations Manager with their duties, as you may be called upon to deputise in their absence.
  • To support, manage, and maintain, the Trusts networking infrastructure. This comprises of physical networking equipment and virtual networking platforms and in the cloud, and includes hardware, operating systems, and other networking components.
  • To provide technical leadership and support to all stages of IT projects, ensuring successful delivery and operation of new systems and applications.
  • Take ownership of deploying system upgrades, software patches, and other changes to the network estate.
  • To contribute to local business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.
Desired:
  • CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional / CISCO Experience
  • Experience with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
  • To assist and mentor junior members of the team and other staff with their professional development
  • NHS experience preferred
