Job Description

£35,000 to £40,000 plus BenefitsDerbyshire, East MidlandsABPM are recruiting for a Management Accountant within a continuously growing manufacturing business.An exciting opportunity for a driven finance professional and a true people person to be part of a close-knit team, a perfect role for a motivated individual keen to acquire an open learning environment with rolling responsibility changes, allowing youto grow as a finance professional or enjoy utilising a range of your current knowledge/skills.This is an adaptable role which would suit a qualified, experienced, or a current studier/finalist!Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Produce accurate and timely management accounts with the team.
  • Prepare statutory accounting and annual budgets with the team.
  • Responsible for group consolidation and tax compliance with the team.
  • Review and identify variances in trends and budgets.
  • Support research and development, including strategy plans.
  • Foreign currency and cashflow management.
  • Prepare vat returns and assist annual stocktake process.
  • Provide audit support including SOX compliance.
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
You should have achieved or hold the abilities within:
  • ACA / ACCA / ACMA / CIMA / QBE or a Part-Qualified Finalist/Studier.
  • Preferably from a manufacturing or commercial background
  • Good all-round accounting experience.
  • A true people person / team player.
