Job Description

Are you looking to gain some experience in an Analytical Laboratory Are you a graduate of Chemistry/ Experienced Lab Tech Or alternatively are you a particularly motivated individual with a strong interest in scienceA leading and successful provider of analytical testing and Environmental services are currently seeking a Laboratory Technicians to join the team in their environmental testing Lab in Derbyshire, on a temp to perm basis. Ideal for Graduates of Chemistry,or related disciplines, but also open to particularly motivated candidates without a relevant degree, looking to begin a career in the Lab.Role Overview

  • Receipt and Analysis of Samples using a range of Analytical Techniques.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in line with relevant regulations and standards such as UKAS ISO17025, GLP.
  • Temporary to permanent, Full-time role (Mon- Fri 12:00-20:30 with early finish on Fridays)
Requirements
  • A Degree or equivalent in a Chemistry related discipline is highly beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience within a lab environment highly beneficial but not essential.
  • Must be highly motivated, with great attention to detail and problem-solving capability, excellent communication skills and a strong appreciation for the principles of quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be immeadiately available to begin
