Job Description

We are seeking an IT Security Specialist with a strong track record in providing enterprise technical security services within or to an IT function within a organisation currently going through change.Client Details

DescriptionWe are seeking an IT Security Specialist with a strong track record in providing enterprise technical security services within or to an IT function and who can:
  • Take on leadership and own through to completion the remaining items on the Info Sec tracker
  • Develop and oversee the remediation of actions arising from a recent penetration test
  • Complete the remaining application security assessments for the organisation
  • Conduct a technical security review of our MS Teams and Wider MS365 environment
  • Provide security requirements, architecture designs, and assurance activities to projects
  • Review and assess the security of code (e.g., for automation or integration)
  • Review outputs from the SIEM tool in conjunction with our supplier partner
  • Establish IT security policies, processes, and procedures in line with recognised good practice
  • Help move the organisation towards Cyber Essentials Plus
  • Coordinate with colleagues to provide a security roadshow for end users within the organisation
Profile
  • Candidates must have experience of on-premise, hybrid, and cloud (AWS or Azure) security
  • knowledge of CIS benchmarks
  • security controls within M365, and be familiar with network security (across firewalls, switches, routers and SDWAN)
  • Candidates should also have one or more relevant certifications (CISSP, CRTSA, Cisco/Juniper security and Azure/AWS security)
  • Exposure to Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus would be advantageous
