Health and Safety AdvisorAre you looking for a new Health and Safety ChallengeConsidering a new opportunity in Bristol, Derby or CheltenhamBelcan may have the role for you!Due to winning new projects and engaging with new clients, Belcan are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer on a permanent basis. As a valuable member of the Quality, Health and Safety team, you will provide a health and safety focus, workingwith engineering teams, supporting various site locations around the UK to improve the companys HSE systems. The role will require your involvement in the measurement, management and implementation of these systems and policies. You will also be involvedwith providing strategic guidance to the business on all HSE matters.As a Health and Safety Officer on board with Belcan you would also evaluate documentation and outcomes of accident/incident/near miss investigations and complete any formal reporting (RIDDOR) concluding solutions to any issues arising from them. They willalso be at the forefront of Belcan obtaining the occupational health and safety management systems ISO45001, that Belcan is presently in process to obtain.The successful candidate will have previous experience of health, safety and environmental systems.
