Job Description

Head of Development - East Midlands - SolarCalling all Senior Development Managers looking for a step up in responsibility!I am currently working with a client that are looking to take on a Head of Development who is happy to get stuck in on projects and eventually progress and further build out their existing development team so they can just manage. The client have said this is the perfect role for someone looking to take the next jump in their career and move into a role which perhaps they cant reach with their current employer. As I said, if you are currently working a Senior Development Manager roleand becoming frustrated with lack of progression then this might be what youre after. This is a company who are essentially self-funded and are an integrated developer/O&M business so you can gain visibility across the whole life-cycle. What would your role look like in the short-term and long-term:- Working alongside a team of 8 to get development projects for solar and BESS from greenfield to permitted.- Taking projects from greenfield all the way to fruition.- Working with the existing development team to speak to land owners and planning consultants, getting stuck in alongside colleagues to work on 450MW of projects, and others coming into the pipeline. - Understanding revenue streams. - Carrying out grid agreements.- Long-term you would be making more development hires and moving into a pure play management role which would require less hands on work. If this is something you would be keen to learn more about then feel free to reach me on my details below for an initial confidential discussion. Bayleigh AngelPiper Maddox is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
