A high volume, fresh food pub in Derbyshire is recruiting for a Head Chef roleRole:Located in the Derby region of the county this venue is a popular dining pub that has a high turnover on food with the capacity to serve over 200 covers on the busiest shifts. In this role of Head Chef you will be responsible for managing and directing the kitchen team, ensuring that they are capable of working to the high standards expected whilst remaining calm under the pressure of cooking for large numbers as well as ensuring that the department is fully prepped for service. The menus at the pub feature a range of dishes from classic pub dining, modern rustic food, pizzas, small plates, grills etc.Requirements:The pub needs a strong, experienced Head Chef who has been working in high volume, fresh food, branded kitchens previously which have developed your organisational skills. All chefs should be capable of leading a team from the front taking full control of the kitchen to ensure that the customers get the level of cooking and service that they have come to expect at the venue.Benefits Include:
