* New role - Group SHEQ Director *Macildowies Executive Search team have been retained to find a new Group Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Director for a diverse manufacturing business based in Derbyshire. This expanding organisation has a number of businesses who each have theirown SHEQ business partner. The time has come to appoint a Group SHEQ Director to create and embed an over-arching SHEQ agenda via those business partners which is tailored to each business.Consequently, the role requires:* An individual who has previously worked within a Group SHEQ role at either Director OR Senior Manager/Head Of level* Somebody who can win the hearts and minds of the leaders in the business to embrace the SHEQ agenda* SHEQ experience in a manufacturing or engineering context* Strong technical knowledge of regulations, risk and reporting* An ability to consider commercial implications (opportunities and challenges) of the SHEQ agenda* An individual who relishes being out in the business engaging with employees at all levelsThis is a really exciting opportunity for a senior SHEQ practitioner to create a culture of safety and quality in a successful business.
