Piper Maddox, a successful exclusive talent partner of the worlds leading Aircraft Propulsion system manufacturer.Operating for the last 100 years and have now established as a world-class leader for power-dense, reliable, and resilient sustainable Aerospace systems.Now recruiting for a Electrical Systems Engineer specialising in Verification Validation (V&V) for new rapidly developing sustainable propulsion systems.The role:This is an extremely exciting opportunity for an Engineer to work with world leading sustainable flight propulsion systems.You will work on developing an existing verification strategy and manage its delivery in-line with an electrical test facility.* Previous Experience in V & V planning and execution and use of requirements management tools.* Review and validate system level requirements for a development electrical power system and its components, including the ability to verify and test. * Ensure requirements are robustly validated and requirement maturity / risks are understood and communicated to the project team. * Create, develop, and review system level tests for a developmental electrical power system, with support from subject matter experts, to provide evidence that the requirements of the system have been satisfied. * Develop the tests into a coherent and strategic test plan considering order of test completion, technical risk, equipment and support requirements. Requirements:* Minimum of a bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent. * Demonstrable experience developing, managing and implementing V&V cycles within electrical system manufacturing environment.* A level of electrical system knowledge, through qualifications or work experience, with the ability and appetite to develop further independently. * Capable of liaising with subject matter experts across a broad range of engineering disciplines including electrical machine design, power conversion, electrical protection, and related engineering disciplines. * Knowledge or experience in systems engineering and use of systems engineering tools. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively contribute to a highly integrated team. * Working knowledge of domain plant and platform interfaces, component technology and behaviour during normal and abnormal operation, verification vehicles,electrical design, system architecture, development process constraints.
