Job Description

Content Manager | Horticulture / Agriculture | Home BasedAbout Our ClientOur Client is working with both the Horticultural and Agricultural industry and are looking for a Content Manager to lead their content strategy.About the JobYou will have full responsibility for the content, SEO and producing exceptional material to drive a brand new platform. some responsibilties will include:

  • Manage and quality assure content and web packages for the Online Service platform and web presence
  • Manage relationships with all stakeholders inputting to individual projects, overseeing their schedules
  • Oversee the research, writing and build processes, as well as editing and proof-reading all written andaudiocontent
  • Have overall responsibility to select, commission and edit contributions for required content
  • Work with partners on the selection of content for the platform, including signposting and co-creation arrangements
  • To co-ordinate copywriting where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience of managing content-rich learning products
  • Experience within the agriculture and horticulture and/or training and education sectors desirable
  • Experience of project management on creative projects, ideally in training and education
  • Understanding of creating online content for a range of audiences, including sound and audio
  • Experience in best practice SEO
  • Experience of developing learning products that appeal to a variety of learning styles and support a wide range of learning outcomes, including changes in values, behaviours, skills,knowledgeand attitudes
  • To be highly skilled in text writing for a variety of audience
  • Knowledge of digitisation, content management systems, web design and development, information architecture, usability, interactive development, and learning environment
  • Management skills, including staff management, project management, budgeting, sourcing, resource management, scheduling and contract management.
