• The CEO will lead on all fronts, across team development, PR, events management, estate Management, CAPEX, financials, and business development. You will be a modern leader who thrives in developing others.

Client DetailsMy client are a privately owned country estate in the East Midlands which includes a Grade 1 and 2* Listed building.Today, the estate has been restored to its original grandeur while dramatically fusing the styles of the old with the new. The sweeping staircases, elegant bedrooms and showstopping reception rooms all make the estate a unique and cherished Country HouseHome.Guests booking the venue or the self-catering properties have the extraordinary opportunity to stay and explore the exclusive country estate which boasts 400 acres of rolling countryside, farmhouse and four cottages, a range of traditional buildings andformer walled garden.In addition to this the estate boasts an award winning 18 hole and Par 3 Golf course and centre for the local community to join or visiting guests to use. You will be a modern leader who thrives in developing others.The CEOs responsibilities include formulating and delivering the strategy for the business for events, golf, leisure, property, holiday lets, hospitality and other income generating opportunities, managing people, communicating to clients/suppliers/ partners,and establishing policies for the business. This role requires a confident decision-maker and strong leader who can help the teams to develop, and be productive while ensuring the business is profitable, sustainable, and growing positively.Responsibilities* Responsible for the annual performance and growth of the business* Developing, implementing and managing the delivery of the companys strategy to optimise the leisure offering across the whole Estate.* Oversight of the Golf business to maximise the revenue and memberships* Develop a farming and land use strategy that compliments and works alongside the leisure offering* Protect heritage assets and conserve and where possible enhance the biodiversity across the Estate* Reviewing and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the teams by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement* Proactively managing expenditure across the business and overseeing any CAPEX projects and expenditure.* Upholding standards of excellence and delivering a high-quality service* Seeking out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships* Providing guidance and feedback to help the teams strengthen their knowledge/skills* Providing clear and concise reporting and guidance to the Partnership Board.ProfileCandidates will offer the following attributes:* CEO, COO or GM experience within a hotel/leisure background* Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)* Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills* Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable (values, guides & develops teams)* Relevant qualifications in business management or related field* A professional business strategist with a tangible record of delivering sustainable growth and profits.* Market intelligence with a strong knowledge of Events / Leisure / Hospitality competitors.* Ability to interpret both financial & non-financial reports / MI / KPIs.* Presenting performance reports to Partners and the Senior Management team.* Leader of CAPEX Investments.Job OfferCompetitive basic salary with performance related bonus
