Job Description

This role requires a Buyer with a keen eye for detail to manage and develop supplier relationships within the industrial/manufacturing sector. The position will be based in Derbyshire and will involve active participation in all aspects of the procurementand supply chain process.Client DetailsMy client are a well-established company in the industrial / manufacturing sector.   • Manage and develop supplier relationships for the companys industrial/manufacturing operations.
  • Actively participate in all aspects of procurement and supply chain management.
  • Handle negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Analyze and forecast procurement needs based on market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement procurement strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain quality standards.
  • Resolving issues related to procurement and supply chain processes.
ProfileA successful Buyer should have:
  • Experience within FMCG/Industrial manufacturing welcomed
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management principles.
  • Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
