Role:1-1 Teaching Assistant Year 5. You will be required to work with one Year 5 pupil in the morning and the other Year 5 pupil in the afternoon.Start date - Monday 7th June until July 2021Full timeMy client who is based in Long Eaton are recruiting for a 1-1 teaching assistant, to work with two children in Year 5. One has has very challenging behaviour and the other child has attachment issues and needs someone experienced to work with them.Pay rate - £65 - £70 per day depending on experienceThe ideal candidate will be:* Level 3 qualified ideally but not essential* Experience of working with children with behavioural issues* Experienced supporting school pupils or young people* Knowledgeable about supporting vulnerable pupils * Available from April fulltime with a DBS on the update service or willing to complete one* Able to commit long term to the school and pupils for continuity* Team Teach/MAPA trained* Counselling/Psychology background a bonus* Experience of working with challenging behaviour* Nurturing and caringThis position is a great opportunity to work alongside supportive and experienced teams and leadership.
