Job Description

Azure Data Engineer | Data Lakes | Azure SQL | SSAS | Railways sector | East Midlands | 6 month contract | Outside IR35 | £450 per dayClient DetailsLeading transportations clientDescription

  • Responsible for the integration and re-modelling of data from on-premise to Azure technologies using cloud storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL and Azure Synapse
  • Integrating and modelling clients datasets into a new, single reporting source DWH initially into Azure SQL with growth, plan to migrate to Synapse
  • Business intelligence reporting and practices on all areas of the business at both high a level. But where necessary a detailed understanding of what management may require for all forms of reporting and aspects of the business
  • SQL Server Databases and designing tabular OLAP cubes/ data models for high quality analytical reporting purposes
