Job Description

Do you have good attention to detail and previous production or manufacturing experienceAre you looking for an immediate opportunity for a new career We have excellent pay rates and set shift patterns, in a clean and professional factory. Youll get weekly pay, scheduled shifts, paid holiday and training.Pay rate:£8.91 PER HOUR - day shift , £9.25 PER HOUR - afternoon shift for the first 12 weeks and then will rise to £9.99 PER HOUR - day shift , £13.31 PER HOUR - afternoon shift

  • Working Hours:
  • Hours are advertised each week and and vary from 39 to 48 hours per week , some finsh time can be 2am.
  • Rotational Shift pattern
  • Monday - Friday
  • Overtime rate
  • Night shift premium for hours worked past 11pm
    • Responsibilities:
  • Linishing/grinding of components to a high Quality standard.
  • Use an etching machine to stamp the serial number and identification tag.
  • Self inspect the product to ensure a quality output.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
  • Measure and inspect components prior to delivery.
  • Adhere to the Companys Health & Safety policy and safe working practices.
  • Work with the quality department and implement the customer needs.
    • Requirements:
  • Have previous experience as a metal linisher within a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures.
  • Teamwork and a flexible attitude are essential pre-requisites.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organisation.
  • You will be willing to work a muli-shift pattern.
  • Have a good knowledge of 5s.
  • A safety and quality focused mind set.
  • A good understanding of company H&S regulations and policies.
  • A proactive approach to work
