Area Sales Manager - Minster (Part of the Saint-Gobain group)This role is covering the East Midlands & Yorkshire, so the ideal candidate should be based in or around this region.Join the fastest growing national specialist insulation and dry lining distributor in the UK!As an Area Sales Specialist with Minster you will have clear focus on territory development around you designated area. You will take ownership and management of your target accounts and drive profitable sales growth working hand in hand with the branchteam.   • Build and maintain close and trusted working relationships with Internal Commercial team to ensure excellent levels of customer service and satisfaction are delivered to customers in order to achieve companys goals
  • Remain commercially aware and expand business opportunities
  • Share our 100% dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Support the introduction of sales of new and specialist products to customers within the Area to ensure sales are created
  • Build long lasting relationships with Internal / External customers
  • Increase and maximize current lapsed sales / key accounts
  • Seek out opportunities to identify future and existing sales opportunities within the Area
  • Ensure that all H&S targets are met
  • Work alongside Business Manager & Branch Manager

  • Experience in a B2B sales environment
  • Desire to succeed, willingness to learn
  • Account Management experience
  • Proven record of driving sales, negotiation and managing a team
  • Good IT, numerical and analytical skills with the ability to generate and compile reports
  • Excellent interpersonal skills building relationship throughout all networks of the business
  • Knowledge of distribution sector and geographical area an advantage, but not essential
  • A full and valid drivers license
