We work to ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting change to their lives.The role The Mental Health Support Teams are part of an exciting trailblazer project funded by NHS England, Health Education England and partners with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community in response tothe governments Green Paper for Young Peoples Mental Health.We are looking for 2 qualified Educational Mental Health Practitioner or Childrens Wellbeing Practitioners (CYP IAPT trained) to join our Mental Health Support team in The Bolsover School in North Derbyshire. As a Practitioner you will be responsible fordelivering evidence-based interventions to children, young people and families, as well as providing Whole School Approach activities directly to schools.What youll be doingSupporting and empowering children, young people and families to make informed choices through a variety of interventions.-Applying close case management and supervision, escalating cases where the level of need becomes beyond scope, or more severe ensuring adherence to other relevant elements of service delivery.-By providing a range of information and support for evidence based psychological treatments.What we need from youIn the role of Wellbeing Practitioner, were ideally looking for someone who has:- Qualified Wellbeing Practitioner (CYP IAPT) OR Educational Mental Health Practitioner (CYP IAPT)- Experience of working with children and/or young people and knowledge of safeguarding.- Knowledge and understand of the issues faced by young people with mild to moderate mental health problems.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Excellent organisational and self-management skills.- Ability to produce concise and accurate reports to agreed standards, formats and timelines, which may be used ultimately for formal reviews.- Utilising management systems and databases to record and retain case and other related data, in addition to extract data to inform presentation of reportsWorking here is so much more than a job.
