Job Description

Immediate Temporary to Permanent position AdministratorHuman Resources Department Burton Upon TrentSalary: £12.00 per hourWorking Hours: 39 hours a weekMonday to Thursday: 08:30 AM - 5:00 PMFriday: 08:30 AM - 4:00 PMOur client are a leading specialist, who are looking to add to their HR team, with a strong Administrator, who can work within all elements of the lifecycle within HR Administration. To apply for the role, you will be organised and a detail oriented individualwith a real ability to be adaptable and work to deadlines. The main key duties will encorporate the following:

  • Administer the full employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and contractual changes, while coordinating with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Administer the shared HR inbox, responding to queries and forwarding complex requests to the relevant HR Business Partner/Advisor.
  • Administer job offers made through the recruitment system.
  • Verify and maintain accurate records of individuals right to work in the UK.
  • Process DBS and employee security checks as requested.
  • Respond to employee reference requests.
  • Handle employee resignations and ensure relevant information is communicated to Payroll and other departments.
  • Manage and maintain training requirements, including PTS and CSCS, on information databases.
  • Issue and log training agreements.
  • Coordinate occupational health referrals and health surveillance screening.
  • Administer the employee recognition scheme, including nominations, business communications, certificates, and rewards.
  • Monitor and update employee absence records, providing guidance to managers on the companys sickness absence policy.
  • Provide basic HR support in disciplinary, grievance, probation, and investigation meetings, ensuring fair and consistent policy application.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous HR Administration experience.
