Job Description

REED Further Education Nottingham are working with a college in the Derbyshire area who are looking for a sports teacher to cover for a minimum of 3 months period.They are looking for the potential candidate to be able to travel between the various campuses. The role will be 3 days a week with timetable Monday 8:30 to 16:30 Derby campus, Thursday 8:30 to 13:00 campus Leek, Friday 11:15 - 14:15 Buxton campus.Job Title: Sports TeacherDuration: Ongoing - 3 months minimumSalary: £25 - £30 per hour with rolled up holiday payLocation: Derby, Leek and Buxton, DerbyshirePosition: Temporary, part-timeThe successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A relevant teaching qualification equivalent to PTTLS Level 3 or above.
  • Ability to delivery BTEC and extended diploma courses to level 3.
  • Ability to develop learning resources is beneficial.
  • Effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual needs is essential.
  • Engaging and motivating both individuals and learner groups.
  • Enhanced DBS on update service.
  • Ability to travel between the 3 campuses.
