Job Description

Job: Signage Fabricator Industry: Signage Location: DerbySalary: £10 - £13.50 Per HourOur client has been real players within the signage industry for the best part of the last three decades and they continue to grow and develop. They have some ambitious plans for growth and have hit some key milestones this year even throughout the global pandemic. Due to this, they are looking to add an experienced Signage Fabricator to their production team in Derby.

  • Fabricating various signage from Mild Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel
  • Must be able to use metal working machinery - hand tools, Mag drills, grinders and polishers
  • Proficient in Mig Welding Steel and Tig Welding Aluminium and Stainless Steel
  • Welding and dressing off corners and preparing signage for brushing and painting
  • Fabricating Steel structures to support signage, Internal steel supports for totems, welding steel box section to Base plates, gussets etc.
  • Keeping a clean and tidy working environment always
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and designs
  • Completing work on schedule and to quality standards
  • Ability to work pro-actively under your own initiative as well as performing well as part of a team collective
