Job Description

Senior IT Engineer - Kendal - £35,000 (Field based)My growing Client is seeking a talented Senior IT Engineer to join their expanding and fast-paced technical support department. In this diverse role, you will provide day-to-day IT support and work on projects for our broad client base. From solving technical problems and managing incidents to completing projects and understanding client requirements, your expertisewill ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service.Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve technical and application issues via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Guide clients through troubleshooting steps effectively.
  • Refit and/or replace client hardware as required.
  • Monitor and maintain systems and networks for optimal performance.
  • Support updates and roll-outs of client applications, including user training.
  • Foster positive working relationships with clients.
  • Install and configure systems to meet client needs.
  • Diagnose hardware and software faults and provide timely resolutions.
  • Adhere to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) to ensure timely resolution of client issues.
  • Effectively prioritise and manage multiple open tickets.
Technical skills:
  • Experience working within an MSP
  • Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365 suite, Active Directory
  • Hyper-V/VMWare
  • Windows Server experience
  • Microsoft on-premise and cloud environments
  • Networked devices (printers, scanners, switches etc
