Job Description

The Regional Manager is responsible for the client relationship and operational business management of the wastewater technical (consulting) delivery teams carrying out work for water industry clients in the midlands and east of England, including line management of the delivery teams. They will have strong leadership and people management skills and a background in wastewater technical or consultancy roles.The Regional Manager will work closely with the Regional Director to ensure that the wastewater consultancy business is managed efficiently and delivers against all KPIs.This is an exciting and evolving industry, providing challenges and opportunities which require innovation, dedication and team work to help us meet our clients’ needs. The base location is Derby.Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading relationships with key clients.
  • Leading on performance against business management KPIs including health and safety, quality, financial reporting, people development and client management.
  • Supporting Technical Managers to exceed the expectations of our clients through quality of delivery and to deliver project profit targets through robust project management
  • Lead on resource management, including recruitment and establishing new delivery teams to service growth clients.
  • Contributing to growth through excellent client relationships and work winning reputation.
  • Management of wastewater business development, PQQs and tenders.
    • Skills, Experience & Qualifications required
  • Strong track record in the delivery of business management KPIs.
  • Demonstrable experience in team management, leadership, motivation and development of staff.
  • Evidence of identifying, developing and delivering new workstreams and services as well as developing a team by the securing of business generating revenue and profit growth.
  • Experience in business planning, financial control, commercial and risk management.
  • Relevant Degree plus Chartered or Incorporated, or demonstrable experience
